History
The Pharmaceutical Division was established on the 1st of May, 1992 as a division with the best prospects from a former glass research institute with a tradition going back to 1923. This was founded as the National Research Institute of the glass, which is engaged in the research of glass technology - from the name SVUS.
Later the name was added to the word SVUS Pharma, given the shift in business towards pharmacy. The original area of the research institute called "dust-free" operations came about after a necessary adaptation in order to satisfy the clean environment of class D - very suitable for use in the pharmaceutical industry, including primary non-sterile dosage forms of packaging.
The aim was to meet the requirements of the rapidly expanding domestic and foreign markets for pharmaceuticals, food supplements and cosmetics.
Activity of company
Production (package) of both drugs and dietary supplements is under the manufacturing practice in accordance with internationally applicable requirements (Directive 2003/94/EC). Procedures for the packaging of products are specified according to the requirements of customers - both domestic and foreign.
Pharmaceutical contract manufacturing (packing) is based on expert knowledge, experience and a professional approach of all employees, whose skills are improved by continuous training.
The company cooperates with proven, long-term suppliers of packaging materials both from home and abroad.
Compliance with good manufacturing practice is regularly reviewed by state administration and contractors.
